The service
My Last Words For You lets you create personal messages for loved ones, store them securely, and release them according to your settings and our trust protocol (trusted people + cooling-off). We are not a will, notary, funeral service, insurer, or medical/legal advisor.
Account & subscription
You need an account and an active subscription (or approved trial) for full storage and delivery guarantees. Plans: Essential, Family, Legacy+ as shown on Pricing. Billing is monthly (or annual −20%) via Mollie (iDEAL / SEPA). Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
Your content
You own your messages. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and deliver them as instructed. Do not upload illegal content. Storage caps apply; we do not silently delete sealed messages when you hit a limit — you must upgrade or add storage.
Release
Release depends on trusted confirmation, dates you set, and cooling-off. We do not detect death ourselves. False positives are reduced by the 72-hour window and your check-in veto. Delivery is by email and SMS to the contacts you provide — keep them current.
Liability
We aim for high availability and careful handling, but no service is perfect. To the extent allowed by Dutch law, liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence where mandatory law forbids it.
Law
Dutch law. Disputes: competent courts in the Netherlands.
